GAMBARAN PERESEPAN OBAT ISPA di POLI SPESIALIS ANAK RAWAT JALAN RUMAH SAKIT “X” di MOJOKERTO BULAN SEPTEMBER – DESEMBER TAHUN 2023

Summary Acute respiratory tract infections (ARI) are the leading cause
of infectious disease mortality and mortality in the world. ARI is an acute
inflammation of the upper respiratory tract and lower respiratory tract. ARI is
caused by viruses, microbes or bacteria. ARI is an acute inflammation of the
upper respiratory tract and lower respiratory tract. Percentage of incidence of ARI
in toddlers in Indonesia according to Indonesian Health profile. The ten provinces
with the highest ARI disease are East Java (742.9%), Jakarta (46.0%), Banten
(45.7%), West Papua (44.3%), Central Java (39.8%), Lampung (37.2%), Central
Sulawesi (35.8%), NTB (34.6%), Bali (31.2%), West Java (28.1%). Meanwhile,
South Kalimantan ISPA ranks 11th with a prevalence (26.1%) in toddlers. This
study aims to determine the picture of prescribing ARI drugs in children at the
Children's Specialist Poly at Mojokerto City Hospital. This study used a non-
experimental research design with a descriptive approach by looking at primary
data, namely patient medical records based on the time of data collection,
retrospective research. The results of the research show that the majority of ARI
patients in children are boys with a percentage of 53% and most are experienced
by children aged 1 - 5 years with a percentage of 54%. According to the
prescription, the one that is often used is Pseudoephedrine with a percentage of
16.7% with the rule of using it three times a day, one pack of puyer orally.
