KARYA TULIS ILMIAH HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TERHADAP KETEPATAN PENGGUNAAN INSULIN PEN PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS DI APOTEK K-24 BENOWO PERIODE MARET – JUNI TAHUN 2022

ABSTRAK
Diabetes mellitus adalah suatu kumpulan problema anatomik dan kimiawi yang merupakan dari sejumlah faktor yang terdapat defisiensi insulin absolut atau relatif dan gangguan fungsi insulin (WHO, 2011). Berdasarkan data badan pusat statistik di Indonesia (2003) diperkirakan penduduk Indonesia yang berusia di atas 20 tahun sebesar 133 juta adalah terserang diabetes. Prevalensi diabetes mellitus pada daerah urban sebesar 14,7% dan pada daerah rural sebesar 7,2% (PERKENI, 2011). Ketidakpatuhan (non compliance) dan ketidaksepahaman (non corcondance) pasien dalam menjalankan terapi merupakan salah satu penyebab kegagalan terapi. Hal ini sering disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman pasien tentang obat dan segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan obat untuk terapinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan terhadap ketepatan penggunaan insulin pen pada pasien diabetes melitus di apotek K-24 Benowo periode Maret - Juni Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini merupakan observasional analitik dengan menggunakan cross sectional study dengan menggunakan kuisioner dengan metode Time Limited Sampling yaitu pembatasan waktu pada periode waktu yang telah ditetapkan. Cara pengambilan sampel yaitu dari populasi di Apotek K-24 Benowo selama satu bulan dari bulan Januari – Maret 2022 dipilih pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi untuk dimasukan ke dalam penelitian sampai batas waktu yang telah ditentukan. Hasil distribusi variabel pengetahuan diperoleh baik (52,5%), cukup (27,5%), dan kurang (20,0%). Hasil distribusi variabel ketepatan penggunaan diperoleh tepat (90%) dan tidak tepat (10%). Hasil analisis data uji normalitas diperoleh probabilitas (sig.2-tailed) < 0,05 dan hasil uji korelasi diperoleh 0,001 < 0,050. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan ketepatan penggunaan insulin pen pada pasien DM tipe II di Apotek K-24 Benowo.
ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus is a collection of anatomical and chemical problems that are from a number of factors including absolute or relative insulin deficiency and impaired insulin function (WHO, 2011). Based on data from the statistical headquarters in Indonesia (2003) it is estimated that the population of Indonesia over the age of 20 is 133 million, with diabetes. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in urban areas is 14.7% and in rural areas 7.2% (PERKENI, 2011). Non-compliance and non-correlation of patients in the course of therapy are among the causes of therapy failure. This is often due to the patient's lack of knowledge and understanding of the drug and everything related to the use of the drug for its therapy. The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship of knowledge level to the accuracy of use of pen insulin in patients with diabetes mellitus at the K-24 Benowo pharmacy from March to June 2022. This study is analytical observational using cross sectional studies using a quaternary using the Time Limited Sampling method, a time limitation of a predefined period of time. The method of sampling from the population at the K-24 Benowo Pharmacy for one month from January to March 2022 was selected by patients who met the inclusion criteria to be included in the study until a predetermined time limit. The results of the distribution of knowledge variables were good (52.5%), sufficient (27.5%), and less (20.0% The distribution of usage accuracy variables was precise (90%) and inaccurate (10%). The analysis results of the normality test data were obtained (sig.2-tailed) ± 0.05 and the correlation test results were obtained 0.001 ± 0.050. Based on the research done, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between knowledge level and accuracy of pen insulin use in type II DM patients at Benowo K-24 Pharmacy.
