KARYA TULIS ILMIAH PENGARUH VARIASI KONSENTRASI CMC-Na SEBAGAI FILM FORMING TERHADAP MUTU FISIK ORAL FAST DISSOLVING FILM ONDANSENTRON HCL
XMLABSTRAK
Ondansentron HCl biasanya digunakan untuk pengobatan mual dan muntah serta profilaksis dari emesis pasca kemoterapi atau radioterapi Oral fast dissolving film merupakan sediaan yang tipis dan penggunaannya diletakkan dibawah lidah pasien . Sediaan Oral fast dissolving film tersunsun dari komponen utama yang disebut film forming agent salah satunya CMC-Na dan HPMC. Pembuatan sediaan oral fast dissolving film ini menggunakan bahan aktif ondansentron HCl dan bahan eksipien lainnya, salah satunya CMC_Na dengan variasi konsentrasi 1%, 2% , 3% untuk memperoleh hasil mutu fisik yang baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode solvent casting.Pengumpulan data dilakukan terhadap karakteristik fisik meliputi variasi bobot, ketebalan, kekuatan tarik, pH sediaan, daya pengembang, dan penetapan kadar. Hasil yang diperoleh ketebalan film 0,1 mm – 0,2 mm, variasi bobot yang diperoleh 0,037 gram – 0,044 gram, kekuatan tarik yang diperoleh 1,79 gram/mm – 1,973 gram/mm, pH yang diperoleh 6,7 – 6,8, daya pengembang yang diperoleh 119,1022 % - 127,2720 %, dan keseragaman kandungan yang diperoleh 92,819 % - 100,055 %. Hasil yang telah dibuat semakin bertambah konsentrasi maka semakin besar pula elastisitas dari sedian oral fast dissolving film.
ABSTRACT
Ondansetron HCl is usually used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting as well as prophylaxis of emesis after chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Oral fast dissolving film is a thin preparation and is placed under the patient's tongue.Oral fast dissolving film is composed of main components called film forming agents, one of which is CMC-Na and HPMC. The preparation of this oral fast dissolving film uses the active ingredient ondansetron HCl and other excipients, one of which is CMC-Na with varying concentrations of 1%, 2%, 3% to obtain good physical quality results. The method used is the solvent casting method. Data collection was carried out on physical characteristics including variations in weight, thickness, tensile strength, pH of the preparation, swelling power, and assay. The results obtained were 0.1 mm – 0.2 mm film thickness, weight variation obtained 0.037 gram – 0.044 gram, tensile strength obtained 1.79 gram/mm – 1.973 gram/mm, pH obtained 6.7 – 6, 8, the swelling power obtained was 119.1022 % - 127.2720%, and the uniformity of the content obtained was 92.819% - 100.055%. The results that have been made are that the higher the concentration, the greater the elasticity of the oral fast dissolving film.
