KARYA TULIS ILMIAH VARIASI KONSENTRASI SSG SEBAGAI PENGHANCUR TERHADAP MUTU FISIK TABLET TEMU PUTIH METODE CETAK LANGSUNG

ABSTRAK
Temu putih (Curcuma zedoaria val.) merupakan tumbuhan yang menunjukkan adanya efek antioksidan pada aktivitas farmakologinya. Terkait perubahan zaman sediaan obat dilakukan secara empirik dari tumbuhan sampai dengan menjadi bentuk sebuah tablet, oleh karena itu banyak masyarakat yang mengkonsumsi sediaan obat berbentuk tablet karena mudah dikonsumsi dan di bawa. Tablet temu putih adalah tablet herbal yang digunakan sebagai obat untuk antidiabetes. Pembuatan tablet temu putih dalam formulasi ini untuk mengetahui hasil yang baik dari perbedaan konsentrasi bahan penghancur Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) dengan konsentrasi 2%, 4% dan 8% dengan metode sederhana yaitu metode cetak langsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui waktu hancur tablet ekstrak temu putih dengan variasi konsentrasi bahan penghancur Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) serta untuk mengetahui kadar bahan penghancur dari evaluasi mutu fisik tablet. Tablet dibuat dengan metode cetak langsung dengan konsentrasi Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) 2%, 4% dan 8%. Tablet yang dihasilkan pada uji keseragaman bobot, uji keseragaman ukuran, uji kerapuhan, uji kekerasan, dan uji waktu hancur dinyatakan memenuhi persyaratan uji. Pada uji waktu hancur, hasil uji waktu hancur pada formulasi 1 konsentrasi 2% 8,77 menit, formulasi 2 konsentrasi 4% 8,3 menit, formulasi 3 konsentrasi 8% 7,12 menit.
ABSTRACT
Temu Putih (Curcuma zedoaria val.) is a plant that shows an antioxidant effect on its pharmacological activity. Regarding the changing times, medicinal preparations are carried out empirically from plants to the form of a tablet, therefore many people consume drug preparations in tablet form because they are easy to consume and carry. Temu putih tablets are herbal tablets that are used as antidiabetic drugs. The manufacture of white turmeric tablets in this formulation is to determine the good results of the different concentrations of the disintegrant Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) with concentrations of 2%, 4%, and 8% with a simple method, namely the direct printing method. The purpose of this study was to determine the disintegration time of white turmeric extract tablets with variations in the concentration of Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) as a disintegrant and to determine the levels of disintegrants from the evaluation of the physical quality of the tablets. The tablets were made by direct printing method with concentrations of Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) 2%, 4%, and 8%. The tablets produced in the weight uniformity test, size uniformity test, friability test, hardness test, and disintegration time test were declared to meet the test requirements. In the disintegration time test, the disintegration time test results in formulation 1 concentration of 2% 8.77 minutes, formulation 2 concentration of 4% 8.3 minutes, and formulation 3 concentration of 8% 7.12 minutes. A concentration variation of 8% indicates that Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) accelerates the optimal tablet disintegration time. Variasi konsentrasi 8% menunjukkan bahwa Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) mempercepat waktu hancur tablet yang optimal.
