POLA PERESEPAN OBAT ANTIDIABETIK PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI POLI PENYAKIT DALAM RS “X” SIDOARJO PERIODE OKTOBER - DESEMBER 2019
XMLThis study is conducted to determine the antidiabetic drugs prescribing pattern of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in internal polyclinic at Sidoarjo’s hospital for the period of October-December 2019 following the Guideline: ADA (American Diabetes Association) 2020 Standard of Medical Care in Diabetes.Thisstudy is conducted descriptively with the aim of presenting a complete description of a situation objectively using total sampling and retrospective data collection. The sample in this study take 50 sheets of prescription that meet the inclusion criteria and recorded them in the data collector including the name, the dose, and the directions of the medicine that has been analyzed. Based on the data, it can be concluded that 72% of type 2 DM patients use OAD (Oral Antidiabetic Drugs) treatment therapy. 36% single OAD treatment therapy is the preferred choice, OAD of the Biguanide group of 26% is the first-line and preferred initial pharmacological agent. OAD + Insulin treatment therapy is 28%, and the choice of long-acting insulin is 18%, while combination OAD treatment therapy from the biguanide + sulfonylurea group is 16%.
