EVALUASI KEBERHASILAN TERAPI PASIEN HIPERTENSI TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI DI KLINIK X KECAMATAN KRIAN KABUPATEN SIDOARJO PERIODE BULAN FEBRUARI - APRIL 2024

Hypertension is when a person has a systolic 140 mmHg of blood pressure
and 90 mmHg diastolic. Hypertension ranks third in the deadly disease category
after stroke and tuberculosis. Therefore, compliance with treatment needs to be
done because people with hypertension need to take drugs during their lives. This
study evaluates the success of hypertensive patient therapy with antihypertensive
drugs carried out for 3 (three) months of treatment at the X Sidoarjo clinic. The
subjects of this study amounted to 3 (three) people who regularly seek treatment for
3 (three) months. This research method uses descriptive research methods with a
retrospective approach. This study uses an observational design, where researchers
only make intense observations without experimental. The results showed that
during January - April 2024, patients who carried out therapy had not been fully
successful with antihypertensive drug therapy. The evaluation results show that: (1)
the first patient does not show a decrease in the level of hypertension; (2) the second
patient decreased and then increased in the next month; (3) The third patient, there
is no increase in hypertension levels, then there is a decrease in levels. This shows
that some antihypertensive drugs are unsuccessful, and some are successful but not
yet optimal, depending on compliance with taking the drugs of each patient.
