KARYA TULIS ILMIAH PENGARUH SUHU PENYIMPANAN TERHADAP KADAR OBAT SIRUP PARASETAMOL GENERIK PADA KEMASAN TERBUKA SECARA SPEKTROFOTOMETRI UV-VIS

ABSTRAK
Suhu penyimpanan obat adalah salah satu hal yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas obat dan dapat menyebabkan ketidakstabilan sediaan farmasi. Perubahan suhu yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan efek besar pada kadar zat aktif suatu sediaan farmasi. Parasetamol merupakan zat aktif yang berfungsi sebagai antipiretik dan analgetik dengan sedikit efek anti-inflamasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimental. Dimana bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh suhu penyimpanan terhadap kadar obat sirup parasetamol generik pada kemasan terbuka secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Varian suhu penyimpanan sirup parasetamol yang dilakukan adalah 10ºC ; 30ºC dan 50ºC selama satu hari. Penetapan kadar sirup parasetamol generik waktu menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV pada panjang gelombang 243 nm. Hasil penetapan kadar menunjukan terjadinya penurunan persentase kadar zat aktif pada sirup parasetamol setelah diberi perlakuan suhu penyimpanan, hal ini dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh suhu penyimpanan terhadap kadar obat sirup parasetamol generik secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis.
ABSTRACT
Drug storage temperature of medicines is one of the thing that can affect the quality and can cause instability of pharmaceutical preparations. Excessive temperature changes can cause major effects on the levels of active substance a pharmaceutical preparations. Paracetamol is an active substance that serves as antipyretic analgesic with a slight anti-inflammatory effect. This research is an experimental quantitative research, which aims to determine the effect of storage temperature on the concentration of the drug in generic paracetamol syrup on the open packaging with UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Storage temperature varian of paracetamol syrup does is 10° C ; 30° C and 50°C for one day. Assay of generic paracetamol syrup using UV at a wavelength 243 nm. Result of the assay showed a decline in the percentage of the active substance concentration in paracetamol syrup after being given storage temperature treatment, it can be inferred the existence effect storage temperature on the concentration of the drug in generic paracetamol syrup UV-Vis spectrophotometry.
