KARYA TULIS ILMIAH HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP MASYARAKAT PERUMAHAN BLURU PERMAI RT 01 RW 09 SIDOARJO TERHADAP TINDAKAN SWAMEDIKASI OBAT TRADISIONAL DAN OBAT MODERN

ABSTRAK
Berdasarkan Survai Badan Pusat Statistik 2011 (BPS) sebanyak 66,82% penduduk Indonesia melakukan pengobatan diri sendiri terhadap penyakit yang diderita dari pada melakukan pengobatan ke dokter. Sedangkan berdasarkan Riset Kesehatan Dasar pada tahun 2013 (RISKESDAS) sebanyak 35,2% rumah tangga di Indonesia menyimpan obat untuk swamedikasi. Swamedikasi seharusnya dilakukan dengan benar, tepat dan sesuai dengan penyakit yang dialami pasien. Di Indonesia pengobatan dikenal dua metode pengobatan yaitu pengobatan modern dan pengobatan tradisional. Kecenderungan masyarakat dalam pemilihan dan penggunaan pengobatan tergantung pada informasi yang diperoleh masyarakat itu sendiri. Informasi yang masyarakat miliki akan membentuk suatu sikap yang akan ditunjukkan dalam tindakan pemilihan dan penggunaan pengobatan. Salah satu faktor yang akan mempengaruhi sikap seseorang dalam tindakan pemilihan dan pengobatan obat adalah pengetahuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap swamedikasi obat tradisional dan obat modern pada masyarakat Perumahan Bluru Permai RT 01 RW 09 Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional dengan desain penelitian cross sectional menggunakan kuisioner dengan jumlah responden 118 orang yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dikalangan masyarakat Perumahan Bluru Permai RT 01 RW 09 Sidoarjo. Data dalam penelitian ini diolah dalam bentuk prosentase dan menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai obat tradisional dan obat modern sebanyak 63 responden (53,4%) dengan sikap yang cenderung positif terhadap tindakan penggunaan obat tradisional dan obat modern. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Pearson nilai signifikan <0,05 dinyatakan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan terhadap swamedikasi obat tradisional dan obat modern, serta tidak teredapat hubungan antara sikap terhadap swamedikasi obat tradisional dan obat modern.
ABSTRACT
According to Survai Statistical Office 2011 (BPS) 66.82% of Indonesian people are self-treatment of diseases suffered from taking medication to doctors. Meanwhile, based on Basic Health Research in 2013 (RISKESDAS), 35.2% of households in Indonesia store medicine for self-dedication. Swamedication should be done correctly, precisely and according to the disease the patient experiences. In Indonesia treatment is known two methods of treatment namely modern medicine and traditional medicine. The public's propensity in the selection and use of medicine depends on the information the public obtains itself. The information that the public has will form an attitude that will be shown in the act of selecting and using treatment. One of the factors that will influence a person's attitude in the action of selecting and treating drugs is knowledge. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of knowledge and attitude toward the self-dedication of traditional medicine and modern medicine to the people of Bluru Permai Housing RT 01 RW 09 Sidoarjo. This type of study is observational with a cross sectional research design using a questioner with a total of 118 respondents selected purposively sampling at the Bluru Permai Housing Community RT 01 RW 09 Sidoarjo. The data in this study were processed in the form of prosentase and used chi-square tests. The result of this study was that a portion of the public had sufficient knowledge of traditional medicine and modern medicine as many as 63 respondents (53.4%) with attitudes that tended to be positive about the actions of using traditional medicine and modern medicine. Based on Pearson's correlation test results a significant value of <0.05 was found to have no relationship between knowledge of traditional medicine and modern medicine, and no correlation between attitudes to traditional medicine and modern medicine.
