KARYA TULIS ILMIAH HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN SUPLEMEN DAN OBAT HERBAL PADA ERA NEW NORMAL DI DESA KREMBANGAN RT.09 RW.02 KECAMATAN TAMAN

ABSTRAK
Era new normal adalah masa transisi untuk hidup normal secara berdampingan dengan keberadaan virus corona yang masih ada di sekitar kita. Salah satu upaya untuk pengendalian dan pencegahan COVID-19 adalah dengan meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh. Salah satu cara menjaga daya tahan tubuh adalah dengan cara mengkonsumsi suplemen atau pun obat herbal (jamu). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan terhadap penggunaan suplemen dan obat herbal pada era new normal di desa Krembangan RT.09 RW.02 kecamatan Taman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik non eksperimental dengan menggunakan cross sectional dengan menggunakan kuisioner dengan jumlah responden 135 orang yang dipilih secara Propability Sampling yaitu Simple Random Sampling di wilayah masyarakat desa Krembangan RT.09 RW.02 kecamatan Taman kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil dari analisis chi-square berdasarkan jenis kelamin dengan tingkat pengetahuan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0, 379 > 0, 05; Berdasarkan jenis kelamin dengan penggunaan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0,095 > 0, 05; Berdasarkan umur dengan tingkat pengetahuan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0,961 > 0, 05; Berdasarkan umur dengan penggunaan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0,844 > 0, 05; Berdasarkan pendidikan dengan tingkat pengetahuan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0,140 > 0, 05; Berdasarkan pendidikan dengan penggunaan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0,736 > 0, 05; Berdasarkan pekerjaan dengan tingkat pengetahuan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0,146 > 0, 05; Berdasarkan pekerjaan dengan penggunaan diperoleh nilai Sig p = value 0,853 > 0, 05 . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan terhadap penggunaan suplemen dan obat herbal pada era new normal di desa Krembangan RT.09 RW.02 kecamatan Taman.
ABSTRACT
The new normal era is a transitional period for normal coexistence with the existence of the corona virus that still exists around us. One effort for the control and prevention of COVID-19 is by increasing body resistance. One way of maintaining body endurance is by taking supplements or herbal medicines. This research is a non-experimental analytical descriptive study using cross section by using a query with 135 respondents selected by Propability Sampling, Simple Random Sampling in the community area of Krembangan RT.09 RW.02 subdistrict Taman Regency Sidoarjo. The most respondents demographic results were in the gender characteristics of women (51.1%), ages 26-35 (25.2%), high school/equivalent education (56.3%), private employment (43.7%). The distribution of knowledge variables was good (92.6%), sufficient (5.9%), less (1.5%). The results of the distribution of usage variables were good (74.8%), sufficient (20%), and less (5.2%). The results of a chi-square analysis based on gender with knowledge level were found to be Sig p = 0.379 > 0.05; based on gender with use Sig p = 0.095 > 0.05; based on age with knowledge level were found to be 0.961 > 0.05; based on age with use were found to be Sig p = value 0.844 > 0.05; Based on education with knowledge level were found to be Sig p = value 0.12 > 0.05; Based on education with use were found to be Sig p = value 0.736 > 0.05; Based on work with knowledge level were found to be Sig p = value 0.146 > 0.15; Based on work with use were found to be Sig p = value 0.853 > 0.05.. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is no knowledge level relation to the use of supplements and herbal medicines in the new normal era in Krembangan RT.09 RW.02 village, Taman district. The suggestion for further research is that it can increase knowledge of the use of herbal supplements and medicines by providing counseling and health promotion on herbal supplements and medicines, especially in how to make proper herbal medicines and their uses.
