KARYA TULIS ILMIAH UJI AKTIVITAS TONIKUM EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN KEJIBELING (Strobilanthes crispus) PADA MENCIT JANTAN (Mus muscullus)

ABSTRAK
Tanaman kejibeling (Strobilanthes crispus) merupakan tanaman herba liar yang banyak manfaatnya bagi kesehatan. Tanaman kejibeling mengandung zat-zat kimia antara lain: kalium, natrium, kalsium, asam silikat, alkaloida, saponin, flavonoida, dan polifenol. Tujuan penelitian, mengetahui aktivitas ekstrak etanol daun kejibeling (Strobilanthes cripus) terhadap tonikum dan dosis efektif pada mencit jantan (Mus muscullus) dibandingkan dengan kontrol positif (kafein 100 mg/kg BB) dan kontrol negatif (CMC-Na 0,5%). Metode penelitian, True eksperimental dengan pendekatan pretes postes with control group, pengujian menggunakan 15 mencit jantan, dengan perbedaan dosisn pada ekstrak etanol daun kejibeling dosis 100mg/kgBB, 200mg/kgBB, dan 400mg/kgBB sedangkan kontrol positif (kafein 100 mg/kgBB) dan kontrol negatif (CMC-Na 0,5%). Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara observasi lama waktu ketahanan berenang dari mulai mencit jantan dimasukkan kedalam aquarium hingga mencit jantan menunjukkan kelelahan ditandai dengan tidak ada reaksi dari keempat kaki, posisi badan membungkuk, dan kepala berada di permukaan air 4-7 detik, setelah itu diberi perlakuan masing- masing kelompok, lalu mencit jantan direnangkan kembali. Hasil penelitian, Ekstrak etanol daun kejibeling (Strobilanthes cripus )memiliki pengaruh efek tonikum baik pada dosis 400mg/kg BB dengan rata-rata lama berenang selama 885 detik (14 menit 45 detik), dosis 200mg/kgBB dengan rata-rata lama berenang selama 718 detik (11 menit 58 detik), dosis 100mg/kgBB dengan rata-rata lama berenang selama 409 detik (8 menit 16 detik) pada mencit jantan. Dosis ekstrak etanol daun kejibeling (Strobilanthes cripus) yang paling efektif tersebut adalah 400mg/kgBB mencit jantan. Perlakuan kontrol positif (kafein 100 mg/KgBB) diperoleh hasil dengan rata-rata lama berenang selama 1442 detik (24 menit 2 detik) dan kontrol negatif (CMC-Na 0,5%) dengan rata-rata lama berenang selama 227 detik (03 menit 47 detik). Kesimpulan, pada hasil analisis uji One Way Anova memiliki nilai signifikan <0,05 dibandingkan dengan kontrol positif dan kontrol negative menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antar kelompok perlakuan. Ekstrak etanol daun kejibeling (Strobilanthes cripus L.) dosis 400 mg/Kg BB terbukti mempunyai efek tonikum.

ABSTRACT
Kejibeling plant (Strabilanthes crispus) is a wild herbaceous plant with many health benefits. The kelibeling plant contains chemical substances, including: potassium, sodium, calcium, silicic acid, alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, and polyphenols. The purpose of the study was to determine the activity of the ethanol extract of kejibeling leaves (Strobilanthes cripus) against tonic and the effective dose in male mice (Mus muscullus) compared to positive control (caffeine 100 mg/kg BW) and negative control (CMC-Na 0.5%). The research method, True experimental with pretest posttest approach with control group, tested using 15 male mice, with different doses of ethanol extract of kejibeling leaves at doses of 100mg/kgBW, 200mg/kgBW, and 400mg/kgBW while the control was positive (100 mg/kgBW caffeine). and negative control (CMC-Na0.5%). Data analysis was carried out by observing the length of time for swimming resistance from the start of the male mice being put into the aquarium until the male mice showed fatigue marked by no reaction from all four legs, bent body position, and the head was on the surface of the water for 4-7 seconds, after which they were given treatment. each group, then the male mice were swimming again. The results showed that Kejibeling (Strobilanthes cripus) leaf ethanol extract had a good tonic effect at a dose of 400mg/kg BW with an average swimming time of 885 seconds (14 minutes 45 seconds), a dose of 200mg/kgBW with an average swimming time of 718 seconds. seconds (11 minutes 58 seconds), a dose of 100mg/kgBW with an average swimming time of 409 seconds (8 minutes 16 seconds) in male mice. The most effective dose of Kejibeling (Strobilanthes cripus) leaf ethanol extract was 400mg kgBW in male mice. The positive control treatment (caffeine 100 mg K-BW) obtained results with an average swimming length of 1442 seconds (24 minutes 2 seconds) and negative control (CMC-Na 0.5%) with an average swimming length of 227 seconds: (03 minute 47 seconds). In conclusion, the results of the One Way Anova test analysis have a significant value <0.05 compared to positive control and negative control indicating differences between treatment groups. Kejibeling (Strobilanthes cripus) leaf ethanol extract at a dose of 400 mg Kg BW was proven to have a tonic effect.
