KARYA TULIS ILMIAH FORMULASI DAN UJI MUTU FISIK PEMBUATAN SEDIAAN SABUN HERBAL PADAT EKSTRAK DAUN SURUHAN (PEPEROMIA PELLUCIDA L. KUNTH)

ABSTRAK
Daun suruhan (Peperomia Pellucida L. Kunth) memiliki kandungan imia senyawa tannin, alkaloid, saponin, flavonoid, triterpenoid dan steroid. Kebutuhan untuk pembersih badan seperti sabun saat ini semakin meningkat seiring perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi dan semakin meningkat populasi penyakit kulit yang muncul di masyarakat yang kurang menjaga kesehatan badan, yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, kuman, dan kotoran pada kulit. Sabun herbal merupakan Sabun yang terbuat dari ekstrak yang diolah dengan baik yang bersifat antibakteri dan antiseptic. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas peneliti ingin meneliti tentang formulasi ekstrak daun suruhan (Peperomia Pellucida L. Kunth) menjadi sabun herbal untuk yang berkonsentrasi 1% dan 3% sabun kulit dan di uji mutu fisik yang meliputi uji organoleptis, uji homogentas, uji pH dan uji daya busa sabun. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental. Pembuatan formulasi sabun dilakukan dengan perhitungan menggunakan lye kalkulator dan pembuatan sabun menggunakan metode cold processdan cara pembuatan ekstrak menggunakan metode maserasi. Nilai pH sudah sesui SNI 06-3532-2016 dengan nilai pH 9-11. Uji daya busa 9cmdan Uji homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa keenam formulasi sabun padat ekstrak daun suruhan (Peperomia Pelucida L. Kunth) yang tetap homogen yang ditunjukkan dengan tidak adanya butiran kasara taupun partikel pada permukaan sabun padat ekstrak Daun suruhan (Peperomia Pellucida L. Kunth) yang dilihat dengan kasat mata pada konsentrasi1% dan 3% terlihat homogen.
ABSTRACT
Suruhan leaves (Peperomia Pellucida L. Kunth) contain chemical compounds of tannins, alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, triterpenoids and steroids. The need for body cleansers such as soap is currently increasing along with the development of science and technology and the increasing population of skin diseases that arise in people who do not take care of their body health, which are caused by bacteria, germs, and dirt on the skin. Herbal soaps are soaps made from well-processed extracts that have antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Based on the above background, the researchers wanted to examine the formulation of suruhan leaf extract (Peperomia Pellucida L. Kunth) into herbal soap for a concentration of 1% and 3% of skin soap and was tested for physical quality which included organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, pH tests and power tests. soap foam. The design of this research is experimental research. Making soap formulations is done by calculating using a lye calculator and making soap using the cold process method and making extracts using the maceration method. The pH value is in accordance with SNI 06-3532-2016 with a pH value of 9-11. The 9cm foam power test and the homogeneity test showed that the six formulations of suruhan leaf extract (Peperomia Pelucida L. Kunth) solid soap were still homogeneous, as indicated by the absence of coarse grains or particles on the surface of the solid soap. with the naked eye at a concentration of 1% and 3% looks homogeneous.
