Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa. The main cause that often occurs is a disruption of the balance of aggressive factors and defense mechanisms to maintain mucosal integrity which can cause an inflammatory response in the gastric mucosa. Gastritis is usually characterized by symptoms of nausea, vomiting, pain in the gut, bloating, tightness, dizziness, vertigo, decreased appetite, and in more severe conditions it can cause vomiting of blood. This research uses non-experimental descriptive method and retrospective data collection. This study aims to determine the pattern of prescribing and interactions of gastritis drugs at the chemist's pharmacy for the 2019 period. This study was conducted to identify potential drug interactions for gatritis with other drugs. The results of the identification of potential drug interactions showed that there were cases of pharmacological interactions. The results of this study found that the most gastritis drug groups consumed by gastritis patients were ranitidine (38.26%), omeprazole (29.56%), lansoprazole (17.39%). , pantoprazole (4%), antacids (4.69%), cimetidine (3.65%), sucralfate (2.43%), and other drugs, namely antibiotics (30%), analgesics (20%), anti-emetics (50%). The results of the study can be concluded that the prescription pattern at the 2019 chemantren pharmacy is that there are more H2-blockers, namely ranitidine, there is a reason because ranitidine can block H2 in the stomach.
