Orthopaedi (read orthopedic) is a branch of medical Sciences to learn about the acute injury, chronic, and trauma and other disorders in the system muskoloskeletal. Pain is experience sensory and emotional not fun in connect to the network damaged, tend damaged or circumstances damage the network. Drug analgesic work by increasing the verge of pain, influence the emotions (that influence the perception of pain), cause sedation or sopor (so threshold value pain up) or change the perception of the modalities of pain. This study to know about the patterns of analgesic prescribing in orthopedic surgery poly at Dr.WahidinSudiroHusodoHospital from October to December 2019. Which studying four things are drug name, age, dosage form and usage rules. This study using the method of descriptive analysis with collecting data retrospectively. The way to take samples is not randomized (non-random) with total sampling technique.Of the 98 orthopedic surgery patients the analysis of analgesic was use 33.7% of patients using 7.5 mg Meloxicam analgesics. The highest analgesic use based on the dosage form was 65.3% tablets. Then, based on the highest age is above 50 years as much as 63.3%. And based on the highest usage rules are 80.6% in twice a day. It can be concluded that orthopedic surgery patients are more than 50 years old and use 7.5 mg Meloxicamanalgesics in tablets with the rules use are twice a day.
