Dragon fruit is consumed a lot because of its beneficial chemical content for health. However, without us realizing so far we have made the peel of the dragon fruit into waste is the same as removing the various benefits stored therein. Dragon fruit peel contains vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, alkaloids, terpenoids, flavonoids, thiamine, niacin, pyridoxine, cobalamin, phenolic, carotene, and phytoalbumin.Anthocyanin is a flavonoid compound that has the ability as an antioxidant. This is the basis of red dragon fruit peel extract used as an additional substance in the manufacture of solid soap. To determine the characteristics of the preparation of solid herbal soap dragon fruit peels with quality tests include organoleptic tests, preference tests, peel irritation tests, and pH tests.Dragon fruit peels can be formulated as a material for making herbal soapwith solid extracts of dragon fruit peel by maceration method with Ethanol.Thephysical quality test results obtained pH 11 and foam stability test with a percentage of foam loss of 0.22% -0.25% which has met the quality requirements of solid soap. The conclusion of this research is dragon fruit peel extract can be formulated into solid herbal soap and solid herbal soap dragon fruit peel extract concentrations of 1% and 3% in accordance with the physical quality test of soap according to SNI, namely organoleptic test, pH test and foam stability test.
