KARYA TULIS ILMIAH PENGARUH KONSENTRASI CROSPOVIDONE SEBAGAI PENGHANCUR DALAM PEMBUATAN TABLET ORAL FAST DISSOLVING DOMPERIDON BASE

XML

Oral Fast Dissolving Tablet (OFDT) is a solid sedianform containing an active substance which undergoes rapid disintegration within a few seconds when placed on the tongue, generally less than 60 seconds. The making of OFDT domperidon base in this formulation is to find out which results are more optimal than the difference in the concentration of the crushing agent crospovidone 2%, 3%, 5%. The method used is wet granulation, in which wet granulation can improve the compressibility of domperidone base as a drug formulation material. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of physical quality domperidon base Oral Fast Dissolving Tablets on the concentration of crospovidone as a destroyer and determine the concentration of crospovidone which gives results that meet the requirements in making Oral Fast Dissolving Tablets preparations. Results: In the first formulation the average disintegration time was 3.67 seconds, the second formulation was 4.00 seconds disintegration time and the third formulation was 6.67 seconds disintegration time, the results of the three formulations stated fulfilling the requirements. Conclusion: In making OFDT sedans with different concentrations of crospovidone is very influential on disintegration time, in this formulation a better result is 2% concentration because it has faster disintegration time and physical quality that meets the requirements.
